Academic Readiness
All students applying to Redeemer Lutheran School are screened to ensure that they are prepared for the academic standards of our school. Kindergartners undergo both an individual screening and a group mock kindergarten class and submit a completed preschool teacher recommendation form. Students applying to grades 1 through 8 must take a placement test, shadow with the class, and also submit a completed teacher recommendation form.
Registration
Registration of students is accepted each year in January for kindergarten, February for returning students, and March for new families. A non-refundable registration fee is charged annually to each student. The registration fee paid in the spring holds a place for the following August. Kindergarten acceptance letters are mailed within the first week of March and a non-refundable $1800 tuition deposit is required by March 31. New student registrants in all other grades will be notified of acceptance following completion of the entrance test, an interview with the principal, and determination of space available in the class. All new students are admitted on a probationary basis for the first trimester.
