Redeemer Lutheran School Website

The sports program at Redeemer is an opportunity for students in grades 5 through 8 to participate in team athletics.  Students play against other teams in our CNH Lutheran League in both games and tournaments.  While no additional sports fees are charged, travel to and from games by parent volunteer drivers is essential.

Volleyball:

6th - 8th Grade Boys and Girls:  August - October

Teams selected through try-outs

JV Basketball:

5th - 6th Grade Boys and Girls:  October - November

All are welcome (no try-outs)

Varsity Basketball:

6th - 8th Grade Boys and Girls: December - March

Teams selected through try-outs

JV Cheerleading:

3rd - 5th Grade Girls:  October - March

All are welcome (no try-outs); Additional fee applies; No traveling to away games

Varsity Cheerleading:

6th - 8th Grade Girls: October - March

All are welcome (no try-outs). Additional fee applies

Track Meet:

Kindergarten - 8th Grade Boys and Girls: May

Participants are selected through school competitions within age divisions.  Travel to Newark High School is required.

PAL Basketball:

In addition to the Redeemer sports program, many of our students in grades 4-5 play on PAL sponsored basketball teams

Cross Country Running:

5th - 8th grade boys and girls. September-November. All are welcome (no try-outs). Fees apply.
